Needed to setup a spraybooth to paint the fuselage tubing framework. I'm working out of a single stall garage, so I decided to set the booth up just outside the garage. I bought a Harbor Freight 10'x20' carport on sale for $99.00. I built gables for the ends out of 1 1/2 x 1 wood and 4mil plastic. Then I made curtains out of 4mil plastic by folding over the last 12” 3 times to make a doubled area strong enough to support grommets again purchased at HF. I zip tied these to the support rods for the carport. I made a frame to hold two box fans as well. These have filters to catch overspray before air is exited out the booth. One gable has filters that allow air to be sucked into the booth high, and exited out low. A down draft, sorta. When I'm not using it, all the curtains are rolled up and wood clamped to the support rods. I put some red absorbent paper on the floor. Nice thing about this setup is that since the weather is starting to change here in NE Wisconsin, read that getting colder, the booth kind of acts like a green house to warm things up.
